Sparkle is released under the MIT Licence, which grants permission to use, copy, modify, merge, publish and distribute the software, and provides it “as is” without warranty. Sparkle also bundles a few components under other permissive licences: bsdiff(© 2003–2005 Colin Percival, BSD 2-Clause), sais-lite(© 2008–2010 Yuta Mori, MIT), a portable Ed25519 implementation (© 2015 Orson Peters, zlib licence) and signature-verification code (© 2011 Mark Hamlin, BSD 2-Clause). The full licence contains the complete text and conditions.
